The Comet's Wake kickoff
Just a quick post for some of my favorite shots of the Mordheim campaign I'm in at The Spire. Shooting these games has been a blast, largely because of the participants excellent warbands, and the incredible terrain board we've been using. A massive castle wall runs lengthwise down the middle, dividing the city from a thatch hut and graveyard. There are doors that lead up through the battlements, and a gatehouse that you can control the portcullis from. In my kickoff game, my Sorcerer dropped it on the ogre guarding the gate to (rolls dice) absolutely no effect at all!
That's Mordheim, baby ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Here's the photos. Everything shot on my T2i with the 40mm pancake lens, lightly edited in Photos. I am using black and white because, well, Mordheim, but also because I like how it evens out the look of models and terrain painted by several people into something a little more consistent. That said, at the end of the campaign I want to do "class photos" a la these shots from NEMO '25 by Dillon (@voidhalation)

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: these absolutely rule. Looking forward to seeing more
ReplyDeleteThanks Dillon, been really into this aspect of the hobby! I wanna do the "class photo" style shots you did for NEMO for everyone's warband, maybe I can pick your brain on your setup when the campaign gets close to wrapping up.
